O método AHP e a Álgebra de Mapas para determinar a fragilidade ambiental da bacia hidrográfica do Rio Brilhante (Mato Grosso do Sul / Brasil), proposições para a gestão do território

Abstract

A determinação da fragilidade emergente ou ambiental de uma bacia hidrográfica é fundamental para avaliar como as características físicas e as interferências antrópicas podem influenciar no estado de equilíbrio do sistema. Este trabalho apresenta um modelo para estabelecer classes de fragilidade ambiental a partir da sobreposição de fatores naturais e antrópicos, combinando o método de análise hierárquica (AHP) e a Álgebra de Mapas, hierarquicamente integrados em ambiente SIG, isso a fim de contribuir com a gestão do território. Os resultados apontam que 48% da área da bacia abrangem a classe de fragilidade ambiental considerada alta. Nessas áreas, verifica-se uma forte relação entre o grau de degradação e as características do relevo, clima e tipo de solo da região e seus usos. Esse cenário se agrava ao constatar-se que a ocupação intensiva dessas regiões ampliou as áreas de alta fragilidade ambiental, além do avanço sobre as Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP), favorecendo um estado de instabilidade ambiental. O mapa de fragilidade ambiental elaborado visa subsidiar ações para o planejamento ambiental e a proposição de políticas públicas voltadas à gestão territorial, experiência que pode ser replicada em outras áreas e dimensões.
