O‐GlcNAc Transferase Regulates Phenotypic Transformation of Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells in Response to Hyperglycemia

Abstract: Risks of vascular complications are enhanced two‐to‐four fold in diabetes, accounting for increased morbidity and mortality in these patients. Hyperglycemia is an important risk factor for macrovascular complications associated with diabetes.
