Abstract: A resenha trata sobre o fazer História, baseando-se na obra Escrever história e cultivar a memória cristã: sobre a cristianização da Península Ibérica nos séculos V e VI, em que Rossana Pinheiro-Jones trata de duas questões fundamentais para todo historiador e, por conseguinte, para toda historiografia: a escrita e a memória.
