Nzema Idiomatic Expressions as Indirection Strategy: A Politeness Theoretical Perspective

Abstract: The paper explores Nzema idiomatic expressions used as indirection strategy. Figurative devices such as proverbs and euphemisms have received quite an appreciable amount of study in connection with verbal indirection in Nzema.
