Nursing perceptions of the importance of blood glucose monitoring in hospital wards

Abstract: Background/Aims Diabetes mellitus is increasingly prevalent among hospital inpatients. Management requires regular blood glucose monitoring by nurses, yet research into nurse perceptions of glucose management importance is lacking.
