Numerical study on aerodynamic characteristics of rotating missile launched vertically under strong transverse wind

Abstract: Numerical simulation of low speed high Angle of attack rotating missile was carried out by using different turbulence models, and the numerical simulation results were compared with the experimental results. The results show that the SST-DDES model can well simulate the aerodynamic characteristics of the rotating missile at low speed and high Angle of attack.
