“…In a computational study by Huang et al [12] the transverse slot injection has been investigated, and it has been observed that high jet to cross flow pressure ratio can increase the injection penetration in the main supersonic flow; the penetration also increases with increase in slot width. A very detailed numerical study by Gerdroodbary et al [13] on the effect of shock on multiple injection system has been studied. It is found out that when the shock generator is just above the first injector, the shock interaction with the second and third injection increases, it results in increased mixing and is also conducive to flame holding.…”
