Numerical Solution of Energy Equation in Porous Channels under Effects of Radiation Field

Abstract: In this paper, we built a mathematical model for convection and thermal radiation heat transfer of fluid flowing through a vertical channel with porous medium under effects of horizontal magnetic field (MF) at the channel. This model represents a 2-dimensional system of non-linear partial differential equations. Then, we solved this system numerically by finite difference methods using Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) Scheme in two phases (steady state and unsteady state). Moreover, we found the distributi… Show more

“…In 2020, Hammodat A. and Alobaidy I. investigated the stability of the magnetic flux and thermal radiation, as well as the flow and heat transfer systems in horizontal channels when the capacities are changing. In order to solve the computational problem of fluid transferring heat via diffusion and radiation in a rectangular layer while being subjected to an electromagnetic field (EMF), Hammodat A. and et al applied the alternative directed implicit technique (ADI) by the year 2021 [9]. Adeshina T. and Joel C. describe in 2022 [10] how different electrical properties affect the ability of fluids in an exergonic, responsive hydrodynamic flow to adsorb substances across layers.…”

“…Mehta et al [15] explored cyclical heat and flow transmission through a plastic structure between steel plates, as well as heat exchange flux and boiler, in the proximity of oblique ferrites. Hammodat A. et al, [7], deal with this problem of convection and radiation heat transfer of a fluid in a porous channel under influence of a magnetic field using the opposite direction implicitly technique. We observed that shifting the temperature of the fluid within the tube had an important influence on the measurements.…”
