Numerical simulation of cavitation characteristics of pod propulsor

Abstract: In this paper, the CFD calculation method is used to calculate and analyze the cavitation characteristics of a pod propeller blade based on Schner-Sauer cavitation model, and the thrust coefficient, moment coefficient, efficiency, blade surface pressure and gas phase distribution characteristics of the propeller under different cavitation numbers are obtained.
