Previously, lensing events caused by binary lenses were mainly detected through accidental detections of sudden rises and falls of the source flux resulting from source crossings over caustics formed by binary lenses, e.g., Udalski et al (1994), Alcock et al (2000), Jaroszyński et al (2004Jaroszyński et al ( , 2006Jaroszyński et al ( , 2010, and Skowron et al (2007). The caustics represent the positions on the source plane at which the lensing magnification of a point source becomes infinite.…”
