Numerical modelling of the cooling water system of a 106MW Hydro-Power Plant using EPANET

Abstract: The present paper studies the behavior of the new proposed cooling water pumps for a 106 MW Hydro-Power Plant using EPANET. This case-study Hydropower Plant, located in the south of Romania and equipped with two Francis units 53 MW each, processing a 269m gross head, presently goes through a rehabilitation process.
