Numerical model of complex waveguide transducer

Abstract: Numerical model of several dgerent waveguide sections connected in series (the waveguide transducer) is presented in this work. The concrete application of this model will be calculation of scattering and transmission parameters of novel mm-wave integrated phased array [1-3/ input unit -the waveguide transducer @om standard empty waveguide to layered ferrite-dielectric waveguide. To solve this complex electrodynamic problem the numerical method, different from usually appliedfinite elements method, was used.
