Numerical investigation of the influence of period duration on evolution of intense wave of the second sound

Abstract: The effect of repetition time of powerful rectangular pulses on their dynamics was studied numerically on the basis of hydrodynamics of superfluid turbulence. The plane, cylindrical, and spherical situations are considered. Calculations were carried out without mass transfer (the second sound), which corresponded to experimental conditions. Numerical results are compared qualitatively with experimental data.
