Numerical Decision of Problems of Structural Mechanics with Nonideal Unilateral Constraints

Abstract: Here computational models of contact of elastic systems with the contact finite elements (CFE) in a 2D or 3D frame-rod systems are reviewed. The solution is based on the method of the step-by-step analysis taking into account the character of loading, the complicated conditions of the contact and other factors consideration of which approaches the calculation circuit of the task to the real operating conditions of any structures or construction

“…The construction of a discrete model of the "indenter-bone" system corresponded to real geometric dimensions. To simulate the contact between the boundary surfaces of the indenter and the bone, T-shaped frame CFE of the "surface-node" type were used, and between the crack banks, L-shaped CFCs were used [15]. The crack propagation direction was calculated using the maximum tangential stress criterion.…”

“…During the indenter implementation, automatic redefinition of the contact elements discretizing the buffer zone between the boundary surfaces of the indenter and the bone is performed. The determination of the current contact zone in this case is carried out using an algorithm of the "master-servant" type [15].…”
