Numerical and experimental study of the weld joints formation in welding foam materials

Abstract

Abstract.A numerical analysis of fusion welding of steel-and aluminum-based foam materials is carried out. The schemes of the structured and stochastic pore distribution are considered. The research results were used to conduct the experiments which confirmed the reliability of the numerical calculations.
