Numerical Analysis of the Crack Inspections Using Hybrid Approach for the Application the Circular Cantilever Rods

Abstract: The present study aims to investigate crack presence in a rigid steel beam so that it can be considered in structural design. A finite element method (FEM) had been used with the Ansys 16.1 software to simulate the whole steel body with three different forces and moments with a magnitude force subjected at the free end of the beam. The steel rod had been considered as simple cantilever to be modelled by the software. Von Mises stress had been considered in the simulation process where the maximum value of stre… Show more

“…The mechanical properties of various natural fiber composites were evaluated and compared. Glass-reinforced open-literature polypropylene composites have similar properties to polypropylene composites [8]. The modulus and tensile strengths of composites made from sisal, kenaf, and hemp are all very similar.…”

“…Shoe choice affects end-user devices clinically tailored for patient mobility and health state but has received less attention in the academic literature due to its influence on the mechanical prosthetic foot function according to [17]. The results of [18] show that clinicians do not know if their patients are getting the full advantage of prosthetic devices so that they can maximize their rehabilitation potential. Standard guidelines for the classification of prosthetic feet based on their functional properties have recently been established, and these standards have been utilized to help interpret the results of biomechanics comparative studies.…”
