Nuevos modos de conexión con redes globales de innovación: el caso de Chile

Abstract

Resumen Este artículo explora nuevos mecanismos mediante los cuales los países pueden mejorar su conexión con redes globales de innovación, más allá de los mecanismos tradicionales para absorber tecnología extranjera como el comercio internacional y la inversión extranjera directa. A través del estudio del caso de Chile, se discuten las oportunidades y retos asociados al diseño de políticas públicas orientadas a atraer emprendedores extranjeros y universidades internacionales. Este estudio contribuye a la literatura existente sobre la globalización de la innovación, así como a sugerir una serie de recomendaciones para las políticas públicas.
