Abstract:Ethanediamine magnetite nanoparticles (EDAMPs) were used as adsorbents to isolate genomic DNA from various bean-species. A "single-pot" preparation of EDAMPs was described. Further characterization, including transmission electronic microscopy (TEM), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FT-IR) were used to demonstrate the efficiency of this simple and general identification method. The EDAMPs pr… Show more
“…Bands around 1,660 and 1670 cm −1 correspond to N−H bending vibration in PEI/CoFe2O4/rGO and EDA/CoFe2O4/rGO composites in Fig. 2(B−c,d), it is -NH2 rather than protonated -NH3 + , lack a characteristic peak located at 2100 cm -1 , indicating the synthesis of amine-groups functionalized CoFe2O4/rGO composites [45][46][47]. The intense band at 3,500 cm −1 indicates the stretching vibration of O−H in H2O molecular.…”

A rapid, low-cost, and disposable microfluidic thread-based isotachophoresis method was developed for the purification and preconcentration of nucleic acids from biological samples, prior to their extraction and successful analysis using...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
