The decay of 143Ce to levels in lsaPr has been studied using a Ge(Li) anda ~a(Tl)--Ge(Li) coincidence spectrometers. Singles gamma-ray spectrum as well as gamma-gamma coincidence and directional angular correlation measurements werr carried out to determine gamma trausitions, multipolarities, mixing ratios and level spins and parities. Ten new transitions and 26 previously krtown transitions were observed having energies up to 1340 keV.An energy level scheme has beeu constructed for 143Pr composed of 12 previously established levels together with two new levels at 890 keV (5/2+) and 1314 keV (3/5-, 5/2-). Angular correlation measurements together with log ft valnes led to assign spins and parities for the levels 350 keV (3/2-) 721.8 keV (5/2+), 890 keV (5/2 +) and 937.3 keV (3/2 +, 5/2+)
