Nuclear Pakistan – Dichotomy of Power and Weakness

Abstract: The article analyses the fears that Pakistan's nuclear weapons or stockpiled fissile material could fall into the hands of terrorists. The author analyses the main security safeguards to prevent this scenario as well as the main threats to these weapons: corrupted military and intelligence officers, insurgency in the Pashtunistan and terrorist activities.
