Nuclear orientation study of97, 103, 105Ru in Fe

Abstract: Angular distributions have been measured for 7-rays emitted following the decays of 97'~~176 oriented in an iron matrix at temperatures down to 2.8mK. From the temperature dependence of the 7-anisotropies the magnetic hyperfine splitting frequencies vM= Ig#NBHF/hl of 97, lo3, lO~RuFe were found to be 110(7), 57 (15) The analysis for a~ has been performed with the assump--0.13" tion of j~=3/2 + and 5/2 + for the ground state of l~ Taking into account experimentally known g-factors of 3/2 + and 5/2 + states in … Show more

“…The standard value of GSF AC = 0.60 for the modification of the free gyromagnetic factor was used. The magnetic moment of the 3/2 + ground state, obtained from the RTRPM calculations is µ = −0.13µ N , which is consistent with the experimental value µ = (−)0.32(+8 − 20)µ N [27].…”
