StreszczenieRak piersi to najczęstszy nowotwór występujący wśród kobiet .
AbstractBreast cancer is the most commonly occurring tumor in women. In breast cancer diagnostic imaging plays an important role. The main purpose of imaging is to detect the change in breast at the earliest stage and to evaluate the size and location of the lesion. Mammography and Ultrasound are the primary imaging modalities used for breast cancer. Magnetic Resonance Imaging is an additional examination. MRI provides superior sensitivity to detect small changes in breast, but is not used in all patients. There are a number of indications for performing this study. Some of them will be discussed in this work.
