Nuclear chemistry progress report. [Summary of research at the University of Maryland]

Abstract

Cross sections for elastic scattering of 40 Ar on targets of 209 Bi and 238 U were measured at the SuperHILAC at energies of 286 and 340 MeV. Cross sections for the elastic scattering of 84 Kr on 209 Bi were measured at energies of 600 and 712 MeV.
