“…In this context, it is significant for the functioning of an organization, including a tourism organization, to adapt to the local or regional conditions of the socio-economic environment in which it operates, as well as to modify it and create new directions of development. In practical terms, this corresponds to the indicated postulates of changing the principles of RTO operation, including the usage of the model of a networking organization, a product consortium, a tourist cluster, or a destination management company/organization, i.e., organizations based on knowledge and managed by knowledge (Fedyk, 2018b;Fedyk, Kachniewska, 2016;Fedyk, Meyer, Potocki, 2017;Fedyk, Morawski, Morawska-Bąkowska, Langer, Jandova, 2018).…”

“…However, in many mountain destinations perceptions of holistic destination governance are still divergent among stakeholder groups (Benčič, 2006;Baggio, Scott, Cooper, 2010). Poland is a country with relatively poor solutions developed in the area of complex tourism management on all local, regional and nationwide levels (Fedyk, Meyer, Potocki, 2017). In spite of the fact that it is an increasingly common belief that the DMO model should be implemented to manage tourism destination areas, local and regional tourist organizations operating still do not possess such competences and qualifications (Borzyszkowski, 2013;Czernek, 2012;Klimek, 2013).…”

“…Polska jest krajem, w którym stosunkowo słabo funkcjonują rozwiązania wdrażane w zakresie holistycznego zarządzania turystyką na podstawie partnerstwa publiczno-prywatnego. Jest to widoczne na wszystkich poziomach zarządzania turystyką -lokalnym, regionalnym i ogólnokrajowym (Fedyk, Meyer, Potocki, 2017).…”
