“…In recent years, the large-scale integration of renewable energy, based on power electronics and automatic control technology into the grid, has caused many power quality problems. Among them, voltage sag is the most important problem [1][2][3]. At the same time, high-end manufacturing processes, such as semiconductor manufacturing and automobile manufacturing, utilize many sensitive devices, which are very sensitive to voltage sag.…”

“…In response to this situation, methods to manage voltage sag risk and reduce the losses of enterprises are various and can be classified into two categories: technical methods [4, 5] and economic methods [6, 7]. On the one hand, the sensitive enterprises who suffer from voltage sag (the term ‘voltage sag’ mentioned below includes voltage sag and momentary interruption) normally choose to install custom power devices like static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) [3], uninterrupted power supply (UPS) [8] and dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) [9] to maintain the continuous operation of the production lines. Moreover, to deal with uncertainties and constraints, the optimal allocation of those power devices during the planning stage has been studied.…”

“…F AULT diagnosis is a critical and non-trivial task in complex system network applications such as energy internet to improve the reliability and reduce the loss caused by a large number of potential incidents [1], [2]. The fault diagnosis algorithms and methods introduced so far can be categorized as follows [3] • mechanism model based analysis • analysis based on expertise and prior knowledge • wide area monitoring based signal processing The mechanism model is often built on the basis of the physical principles and around some fault scenarios, such as the voltage sag or the power flow.…”
