Novel Resonance-Based Wireless Power Transfer Using Mixed Coupling

Abstract: This study presents an equivalent circuit model for the analysis of wireless power transfer (WPT) through both electric and magnetic couplings using merely a resonant coupler. Moreover, the frequency split phenomenon, which occurs when transmitting couplers are near receiving couplers, is explained.
