Novel presentation of Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome II in a child, with simultaneous Addison’s disease, type 1 diabetes, and Hashimoto’s: a case report

Abstract: We present an 11-year-old female with persistent hypoglycemia in the setting of new-onset type I diabetes mellitus, with further diagnosis of both Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Addison's disease for a diagnosis of autoimmune polyglandular syndrome type II, an autosomal dominant syndrome. Three years later, the child's mother was subsequently diagnosed.
