Novel Nanostructured Na+, Cu2+(Zn2+),CO32−‐HAP/Alginate Composite Scaffold: Fabrication, Characterization and Mechanical Properties

Abstract: The aim of this study was to prepare and characterize the novel Alginate (Alg)/Na+,Cu2+(Zn2+),CO32−‐containing apatite nanocomposite scaffolds, as well as to investigate their mechanical characteristics. During first stage, synthesized Na+,CO32− ‐ containing apatite‐type calcium phosphate was used as initial matrix for sorption of Cu2+ and Zn2+ from solutions with different molar concentrations.
