Abstract:In this work, a novel solution is proposed to reduce the impact of multiple access interference (MAI) in multiuser frequency hopping (FH) networks based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). In the proposed scheme, the sam ples in each transmitted OFDM block are collected from different OFDM symbols. At the receiver side, restoring the original samples' order spreads the samples of any OFDM block with MAI over several OFDM symbols. Consequently, the impact of the MAI is remarkably reduced. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
