With the increasing pressure from global competition, manufacturers have realized that sustainable production is significant in supply chain management. Sustainable supplier selection and order allocation (SSS&OA) play a distinct and critical role for organizations to achieve sustainable development and build competitive advantage. In this paper, we aim to develop a novel SSS&OA model for selecting the most suitable sustainable suppliers and determining the optimal order sizes among them. First, double hierarchy hesitant linguistic term sets (DHHLTSs) are adopted to deal with uncertainty in evaluating the sustainable performance of alternative suppliers. Then, an extended decision field theory is proposed to choose efficient sustainable suppliers dynamically. Considering quantity discount, a multi-objective linear programming (MOLP) model is established to allocate reasonable order quantities among the selected suppliers. Finally, the applicability and effectiveness of the developed model are illustrated through its application in the electronic industry and through a comparative analysis with other methods.

It is well known that there are some unfavorable shortcomings in the ordinary operational rules (OORs) of intuitionistic fuzzy number (IFN), and there exists a close and forceful connection between the intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) and Dempster-Shafer Theory (DST). We can utilize this relationship to present a transparent and fruitful semantic framework for IFS in terms of DST. In the framework of DST, an IFN can be converted into a basic probability assignment (BPA) and operations on IFNs can be represented as operations on a belief interval (BI), which can break away from the revealed shortcomings of the OORs of the IFN. Although there are many operators to aggregate the IFN, the operator to aggregate the BPA is rare. The Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operator has the advantage of considering interrelationships among any number of attributes. The power average (PA) operator can reduce the influences of extreme evaluation values. In addition, for measuring the difference between IFNs, we replace the Hamming distance and Euclidean distance with the Jousselme distance (JD). In this paper, we develop an intuitionistic fuzzy power MSM (IFPMSMDST) operator and an intuitionistic fuzzy weighted power MSM (IFPWMSMDST) operator in the framework of the DST and provide their favorable properties. Then, we propose a novel method based on the proposed operators to solve multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) problems without intermediate defuzzification when their attributes and weights are both IFNs. Finally, some examples are utilized to demonstrate that the proposed methods outperform the previous ones.

The power average (PA) operator and Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operator are two important tools to handle the multiple attribute group decision‐making (MAGDM) problems, and the combination of two operators can eliminate the influence of unreasonable information from biased decision makers (DMs) and can capture the interrelationship among any number of arguments. The Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic set (PFLS) is parallel to the intuitionistic linguistic set (ILS), which is more powerful to convey the uncertainty and ambiguity of the DMs than ILS. In this paper, we propose some power MSM aggregation operators for Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic information, such as Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic power MSM operator and Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic power weighted MSM (PFLPWMSM) operator. At the same time, we further discuss the properties and special cases of these operators. Then, we propose a new method to solve the MAGDM problems with Pythagorean fuzzy linguistic information based on the PFLPWMSM operator. Finally, some illustrative examples are utilized to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
