Novel insights into non‐HLA alloimmunity in kidney transplantation

Abstract: Recognition of non-self structures on donor cells represents the main immunological barrier in solid organ transplantation. The human leukocyte antigens (HLA) are considered the most important non-self (allo)antigens in transplantation.
