Abstract:Hypohidrotic/anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (HED) is a rare genetic disorder affecting ectodermal tissues mainly including hair, teeth, sweat glands, skin and nails. It exhibits X-linked (XLHED) as well as autosomal dominant or recessive modes of inheritance.
