Novel high-accuracy LTCC-integrated power monitors for 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless-LAN applications

Abstract

Miniature LTCC-integrated power monitors for dual-band operation in the 2.4-2JGHr und 4.9-5.9GHz Wireless-LAN bands are presented. The proposed low-cost circuit incorporates a direchonal coupler and a dual-diode power detector, all integrated in a very small size LTCC circuit. The measiired prototypes demonstrate high petformance with respect to power detector accuracy, temperature stabiliiy and dynamic range.
