“…The high-resolution O 1s X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) reveal a Si─O bond near 531.9 eV and an N─C═O bond near 530.5 eV. [27,28] This indicates a shift toward a lower binding energy, which is attributed to the electron-withdrawing effect facilitated by hydrogen bonding with the amino group of ODA (Figure 1b(i)), in accordance with previous studies. [29] This conclusion is corroborated by the corresponding highresolution Si 2p spectra.…”

“…The dye-loaded FeWO 4 /PPy NC display some new bands depicting dyes adsorption onto the NC surface. The FTIR spectral signals at 764 and 967 cm À1 , which can be attributed to the bending vibrations of aromatic C H, 26 and C OH, 27 respectively confirm the adsorption of RB onto the NC surface. The band at 1647 cm À1 is ascribed to C═O stretching mode, while the peaks at 1289, 1051, and 1015 cm À1 are attributed to symmetric and asymmetric S═O stretching vibrations of ARS.…”
