Abstract:A new cesium cerium(iv) iodate, Cs2Ce(IO3)6, was synthesized hydrothermally and studied in detail. Cs2Ce(IO3)6 shows high thermal stability in the air at temperatures up to 414 °C and is a promising candidate for studying photocatalytic activity.
