Novel approach to the processing of meso-macroporous thin films of graphite and in situ graphite–noble metal nanocomposites

Abstract: On-substrate macro-mesoporous nanographite films as well as in situ graphite–noble metal nanocomposites are processed from porous PVDF precursors and were shown to possess outstanding supercapacitance properties.

“…17,18 This conductivity is enhanced with increasing salt and Laponite concentrations in solution. 16 Also, exchanging Na + with K + ions is known to enhance conductivity of Laponite. 17 Because we are dealing with thin lm electrodes that are tested in 1 M KCl solution we may expect good conductivity of our lms.…”

“…These values compare well with the range of values reported for carbon-based materials, including carbon nanotubes. 15,16 For practical applications, the galvanostatic charging-discharging behavior is more appropriate to describe the performance of the electrode. The charging-discharging curves at constant current densities, in the potential window from 0 to 0.6 V, are triangular in shape with nearly linear charging-discharging that is characteristic for double layer capacitors, and denotes good charge-discharge reversibility and nearly ideal capacitive behavior (Fig.…”

“…Прежде всего это относится к таким материалам, размеры отдельных структурных элементов которых сопоставимы или меньше длины волны падающих фотонов. Типичные примеры -пористый графит [2][3][4][5] и графеновая пена [6][7][8][9][10], которые имеют естественную фрактальную структуру. Эти материалы хотя и очень похожи на абсолютно черное тело, но говорить о локальной изотропии теплового излучения для них уже, очевидно, нельзя.…”
