Novel Acclimatization and Acclimation Strategies for Hot Climates

Abstract: Exercising in hot, humid temperatures increases the risk for heat-related illnesses, ranging from mild heat edema to severe heat stroke. With increasing globalization in the world of sports, athletes are sometimes expected to compete in unforgiving conditions that expose them to these risks.
