Nouvelles Observations Sur La Structure Et La Division Du Noyau Cellulaire

Résumé.· Treize taxons de la famille des Orchidées (tribu des Neottiae Lindl.) ont été étudiés d'un point de vue caryologique. Les nombres chromosomiques précédemment cités chez huit d'entre eux, de même que l'aneuploïdie signalée chez Epipactis atrorubens, E. helleborine, Goodyera repens et Listera cordata ont été retrouvés dans les populations du sud de la France. A l'exception de Goodyera repens et Spiranthes spiralis diploïdes et caractérisés par un caryogramme symétrique, toutes les autres espèces sont remarquables par leur état tétraploïde et des caryogrammes fortement dissymétri· ques.Summary.· Thirteen taxons from the Orchids family ( tribe of Neottiae Lindl.) were studied for their caryology. Chromosome numbers were confirmed for eight of them and also the aneuploidy previously mentioned for Epipactis atrorubens, E. hel/eborine, Goodyera repens and Listera cordata in populations from the south of France. Except for Goodyera repens and Spiranthes spiralis which are diploids and characterized by a symetrical karyogram, ali the species are characterized by their tetraploidy and highly non symetrical karyogram.

“…Guignard (9) working on the embryo-sac of Lilium candidum observed the difference in size and the difference in number of chromo somes between the nucleus near the micropyle and the one close to the chalazal end; the micropylar nucleus is slightly smaller and has fewer chromosomes than the chalazal nucleus. Dixon (7) reported that in Lilium longiflorum the superior nucleus of one embryo-sac contains twelve chromosomes while the inferior nucleus has twenty-four and in another embryo-sac contains eight chromosomes whereas the inferior one has sixteen chromosomes.…”
