Nouvelle piste de recherche à la grotte de Nkwei (Cameroun)

Abstract

New research focus at Nkwei cave (Cameroon). New caves have been identified in the volcanic area of Mount Bambouto (West Cameroon) following a systematic prospection, and their study has begun now. The Nkwei cave in the Fongo Tongo district opens at the base of a trachytic lava flow. It presents a guano deposit. The analysis of a bat guano drillcore may give new insights into this archeaologically rich area.
