Notice of Retraction: Diesel oil volatile loss and the moisture content of soil during drying

Abstract: Vo lati lizauon of diesel oil in soil columns was conducted at the ambient temperature of 20 'C by spilling oil on soil surface. The weight loss of oil was determined by pre and post weight of the soil co l umns and desiccant measured on an electronic ba lance. The aim of this paper was to invesugate the effect of moisture content on the vo latilizauon of diesel oil in soil.
