Notch Effects on the Stress Intensity Factor and on the Fatigue Crack Path for Eccentric Circular Internal Cracks in Elliptically Notched Round Bars under Tensile Loading

Abstract: In this paper, stress intensity factor (SIF) solutions are numerically obtained for notched bars subjected to tensile loading containing an eccentric circular inner crack located in the cross-section corresponding to the notch root.
