Not Only Skin Deep—A Rare Case of Porphyria Cutanea Tarda With Corneal Opacity Presenting Along With Scleroderma With Interstitial Lung Disease

Abstract

We present the case of a 57-year-old man who presented to the Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology Clinic at Medanta Hospital in October 2019, with complaints of dry cough and shortness of breath on exertion for the past 4 months. He also had the presence of generalized skin pigmentation, dryness, and thickening, with corneal opacity in his right eye (Figure A) and gradually progressive resorption of his fingertips (Figure B and C), which he said had been present for approximately 6 years.
