Abstract: Purpose of the studyHypophosphataemia and hyperphosphataemia are frequently encountered in hospitalised patients and are associated with significant clinical consequences. However, the prognostic value of normal-range phosphorus levels on all-cause mortality and hospitalisations is not well established.
