“…Involvement of the radicles has been implied to occur in patients with pseudotumour cerebri (PTC), though it has never been fully explored. In PTC, parathesia in all extremities, which manifests itself as episodic tingling without demonstrable sensory loss, has been described by Johnston and Paterson (1974), Bortoluzzi et al (1982), Schutz et al (1980), Couch et al (1985) and Round and Keane (1988). Similarly, neck stiffness was observed in PTC by Press and Ladenson (1983), and Repka et al (1984), and especially in the presence of low back pain and parathesia may be suggestive of root irritation similar to the report of Baquis and Rosman (1989) of neck pain and torticollis in a child with PTC.…”
