Nontraumatic Subperiosteal Orbital Hematoma in a Patient With Behcet Disease

Abstract: Orbital subperiosteal hematomas are commonly caused by facial trauma. Nontraumatic subperiosteal orbital hematomas (NTSOHs) are rare but may occur in patients with underlying medical diseases. A 71-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with a 5-day history of left periorbital pain and proptosis. She was known to have Behcet disease and presented with no recent trauma.
