Nonlocality and the D-state Probability of the Deuteron

Abstract: Aust. J. Phys., 1992, 45, 643-9 Attractive short-range nonlocality incorporated only into the D state of the deuteron decreases the D-state probability Po. The variation of PD versus nonlocality strength is a characteristic curve.

“…The variations in the level of the component of antioxidant system in camels when compared with calves (24), human (25), sheep and goats (22), may be related to different nutritional systems and adaptation to harsh conditions. peroxidasa (GSH-Px), catalasa (CAT), superó-xido dismutasa (SOD) y la concentración de glutation, ácido ascórbico y alfa-tocoferol son elevadas tanto en los jóvenes como en los camellos adultos.…”

“…The rate of decrease during the initial 30 set was used in the calculation of enzyme activity. NADH-cytochrome c reductase and succinate-cytochrome c reductase activities and succinate oxidase activity were measured by the methods described by Mustafa et al (1977). All assays were conducted at 25°C, except, because of low activity of succinate oxidase in lung mitochondria, this enzyme was assayed at 37°C.…”

“…We emphasize that the recent theoretical developments on medium-induced gluon radiation [13,14] are valid in the coherent domain only in the ultrarelativistic limit of the quark momenta. Although some attempts have been made to calculate medium-induced heavy quark energy loss for quarks of mass M q [33], a full description of the coherent radiation from a massive object still does not exist. There are two extreme limits for energy loss by gluon radiation.…”

“…The approach developed in Ref. [33] is based on a factorization of the matrix elements into elastic scattering and gluon emission [34] where the multiplicity distribution of the radiated gluons can be written as…”
