Abstract:Nonlocal thermoelectricity is proposed as a direct probe of interactions, nonthermal states, and the effect of correlations in the nonequilibrium heat transport between 1D quantum channels. In copropagating quantum Hall edge states contacted at different temperatures, the nonlocal thermoelectrical response is expected if the electron-electron interaction mediates the heat exchange directly measuring the interaction strength. Considering the low-energy limit of zero-range interactions, we analytically solve th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
