Abstract:The aim of the present work is to examine the thermally induced disturbances in a transversely isotropic nonlocal exponentially graded (nonhomogeneous) thermoelastic half‐space with voids within the framework of dual‐phase‐lag (DPL) theory. It is supposed that the material's properties are graded in z‐direction. By employing normal mode technique, the exact expressions of the temperature field, the change in volume fraction field, displacement and stress components are obtained. The obtained results are comput… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
