Nonlinear phonon laser with dissipation-governed levitated optomechanics

Abstract: Phonon lasers, exploiting coherent amplifications of phonons, have been a cornerstone for exploring quantum phononics, imaging nanomaterial structures, and realizing force sensors or phonon frequency combs.
