Nonlinear electrical transport properties in silicene

Abstract: By considering screened electron-impurity scattering with Coulombic potential and all intravalley and intervalley electron-phonon interactions due to deformation potential couplings, we explore the nonlinear electrical transport properties of massive Dirac electrons in a monolayer silicene with a balance-equation scheme. The strong effects of the energy gap on both linear and nonlinear drift velocity and resistivity are demonstrated.
