Abstract:By considering screened electron-impurity scattering with Coulombic potential and all intravalley and intervalley electron-phonon interactions due to deformation potential couplings, we explore the nonlinear electrical transport properties of massive Dirac electrons in a monolayer silicene with a balance-equation scheme. The strong effects of the energy gap on both linear and nonlinear drift velocity and resistivity are demonstrated. The tunable values over 50% for mobility and 1800% for resistivity by vertica… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
